I have read a few accounts of those days and that event; and it would mean a lot to me to visit the final resting place of those dear heroes.rutimizrachihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06809119908148195009noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2873285922620200649.post-31601403694481171122011-05-17T09:15:12.353+03:002011-05-17T09:15:12.353+03:00Love it love it love it. Because the Mount of Olives was already cut off, and the Mount Herzl cemetery (and also Har Hamenuchot) did not yet exist, there are many military graves in Sanhedria from 1948, include a mass grave (grave of brothers in Hebrew) for the ע"ה, the 75 doctors, nurses, soldiers and others who were massacred on their way to change shifts at the Mount Scopus Hadassah Hospital. It's a very moving and impressive monument, and worth visiting. Let's make a date and I'll take you there!Ye'he Sh'mey Raba Mevorachhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10880916203103730085noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2873285922620200649.post-13145038607012117152011-05-11T22:31:59.954+03:002011-05-11T22:31:59.954+03:00What an interesting point about the dates chosen f...What an interesting point about the dates chosen for these days, as opposed to the USA's dates.
